I've always had a huge love for animals and specifically fantasy creatures. Obviously, my way of staying connected to this was studying Ecology and Conservation, and the closest I ever got was discussing whether dragons would have 4 or 2 legs with all my fellow nerds between classes, while building costumes and competing internationally on cosplay competitions!
Following my master's on the coolest thing on earth- wolf conservation- I realized science was not gonna work for me: The constant instability and running after grants, the rampant misogyny in the field and the emotional hurdles of trying to protect an animal that everyone wants to kill, all the time, made me step away from it.

I realized that as I had paid for my studies by selling my art, i'd jump in head first and really try doing it as a full time job! I moved to the UK post-brexit to live with my partner and grew my small business to what it is now.
