Basic Costs for Commission Work
Example of production costs for on enamel pins, metal keychains and metal bookmarks- ALL VALUES ARE APPROXIMATIONS.
- Design fee, which includes design with up to 5 revisions, the manufacture-ready files and contact with the manufacturer, as well as commercial rights use and exclusive use of the artwork is 200$ for the first item, 150$ per each subsequent design.
-These items need a one-time mold fee of around 100$ ( this fee won't exist if you decide to reorder in the future)
- Unit cost of around 4$ (Minimum order quantity is very low, at 50 units).
- Shipping of around 100$ to you (this takes into account tariffs for customers in the USA, as i have them shipped to myself first- i have found this to be the most effective way to do it nowadays. I still pay the tariffs, but the costs are reduced and i get to inspect the items myself before sending them to you). This cost is an approximation for 50-100 units based on my personal experience and will vary.
For this example one design, 50 units the total cost would be 600USD. This gets diluted the more you order, since the only additional cost for the same design would be the cost per unit.
Timeline for production varies depending on time of year, number of units and type of item.
