Mort is a skull-shaped bronze knocker on the door to Gavin Havilliard and Elena Galathynius's tomb. He is sentient because he was animated by old spells, allowing him to speak and think the same way he had for hundreds of years even after magic vanished in Erilea.
Mort is one of those characters that you cant help but love- sarcastic and tart, he was precious help until his demise!
This Mort shelf-insert is made to fit in with the Hardback books, with a wood case and resin details handpainted to look like antique bronze. The door has lichen detailing and the skull is painted with a patina effect. The jaw also moves, so he's as close to a functional door knocker as i could make him!
